This resolution creates the House Study Committee on Homestead Exemptions Impacting City of Atlanta Residents. The 'problem' identified is that there is no 'clarity' regarding homestead exemptions received by Atlanta residents and that 'thoughtful consideration' should be given to the role of Fulton and DeKalb counties (as well as Atlanta and the Atlanta school district) in informing residents of the exemptions. |
